California Healthy Kids Resource Center Transition

For more than 20 years, the Alameda County Office of Education (ACOE) has provided high-quality services and resources to school health educators and administrators through the California Healthy Kids Resource Center (CHKRC). As of June 30, 2017, ACOE will no longer administer the CHKRC. The California Department of Education is exploring options to relocate the center and continue these valuable resources and services. We will keep you informed as we learn more.

Please note the following dates for CHKRC services for the 2016-17 school year:

  • The library service is now closed until further notice.
  • All library items are due back by April 28, 2017
  • Online trainings platform will be operational through May 31, 2017
  • Web site will be operational through May 31, 2017
  • Phone and e-mail technical assistance will be available through June 30, 2017
